Arvada is a city in Jefferson County is located to the east of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The community was named after Hiram Arvada Hoskin (or Haskin). Arvada is famous for its cultivation of art and culture. The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities tries to expand the community's understanding of the arts and thrives to bring art into everyday lives. It provides numerous programs for community enrichment and arts education.
